Five Nights At Freddy's is the first edition of an indie survival horror game of the same name. Can you survive 5 consecutive nights in a haunted pizzeria?
When joining this game, you will play as Mike Schmidt who is hired to be a security guard at a famous pizza restaurant. This restaurant is Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria which is famous for entertaining animatronics. As a security guard, you need to stay at the restaurant at night and control the camera system to monitor all rooms in the pizzeria. However, there is one secret that the manager did not tell you. The animatronics of the restaurant are active at night and they will attack you at any time. To protect yourself from these animatronics, you need to utilize the camera system and lights to spot their positions and close the doors when necessary. Do your best to keep the animatronics away from your office and stay alive till 6 am. After surviving for five nights, you get a paycheck of 120 dollars. Because of your great work, you are asked for two more nights. However, on the seventh night, you surprisingly get a layoff letter because you try to tamper with the animatronics and are generally professional.
After playing this game, I have some hypotheses about the creepy story of the game. If you look carefully at the newspaper, you can see the news about The Bite 87 which takes place in FNAF 2. I guess that the killer of this death case is a man who wears an animal mascot. He murdered five kids and hid their dead bodies in the animatronics. Because of this death case, the pizzeria was closed. In 1988, the pizzeria was reopened, but it is smaller.
How to control: Use the mouse to look around, turn on or off the lights and the camera system, and open or close the door.
The first animatronic whom I want to mention is Freddy Fazbear. In fact, on initial nights, he remains inactive. However, from Night 4, Freddy Fazbear becomes more active and his movement patterns are unpredictable. When he appears, you can hear an iconic jingle from his music box. At this time, you should be careful and check all cameras to identify his position.
Unlike Freddy Fazbear, Golden Freddy rarely appears during the game. If you see his poster and hear a young girl's laugh, it means that he is in your office. However, he will not assassinate you immediately. Instead, he waits for a few seconds.
The second animatronic in this game is Foxy who often appears from night 2-5. He likes hiding behind the curtains, so you should check the curtains regularly. Moreover, he often stands in front of the exhibit and runs through West Hall. Before entering your office, he often knocks on the door. Therefore, when hearing the knocking sound, you should close the door now, especially the left door.
The next animatronic is Bonnie who is active on the first night. Unlike other animatronics who like roaming around the pizza restaurant, Bonnie often tries to sneak into your office. Therefore, you should watch out for this animatronic and close the left door when you see him.
The final animatronic is Chica who is inactive on the first night. However, on the second night, she is more active. She likes wandering around the kitchen before entering your office. Therefore, if you hear the noise from the kitchen, you should check the camera and turn on the lights to spot the position of Chica. In particular, you should turn on the light on the right side and close the right door to stop Chica from sneaking into your office.
